Racine County recognizes the important role transportation plays in making sure our residents are receiving the services they need. Specialized Transportation Program
The Human Services Department administers a Specialized Transportation program designed to serve the elderly (aged 60 or older) and persons with disabilities who are incapable of using other means of transportation, or who have no other means of transportation available.
Racine County currently offers two distinct services within the Specialized Transportation program:

Medicaid Common Carrier Transportation
Racine County residents enrolled in the State’s ForwardHealth Medicaid plans that are in need of transportation to Medicaid (Title XIX) eligible services can be referred to transportation providers upon verification of eligibility with the County.
