Become a Foster FamilyMinimize

Foster Care Parents

You can make a difference to youth who need a home.

We’re looking for all types of stable and supportive families—single parents, married couples, blended families, families of color, empty nesters, home owners or renters.

To become a foster parent, you don’t need a fancy house, a spouse or partner, or extensive caregiving experience.

You do need a commitment to learning and working as part of a team, a sense of humor, flexibility, and patience.

In addition, you need the desire to provide a stable and supportive home for a young person, a pre-teen and teenagers who have entered the foster care system.  They all need loving and dedicated adults to welcome them into their homes and nurture them to a healthy, self-sufficient adulthood.

We want you to sign up to be a foster parent but we want to give you the facts.  Maybe you have what it takes to be a foster parent.  When you make the commitment to open your home to foster children, you will be doing a good thing.  You may even save a child’s life!  Be that someone to give a child a chance to enjoy a happy, healthy home of his/her own!!

If you would like information about becoming a foster parent, contact  Michelle Rainey  via email or by calling 262-638-6356
