Tours of the Juvenile Detention Center can be arranged in conjunction with a child’s case manager and a representative of the Detention Center.  If the child has a case manager, the case manager must be made aware of the desire for a Detention tour.  Parents of children who are not assigned a case manager may, in limited cases, request a Detention tour by contacting the Juvenile Detention Center directly.

The tour is intended as deterrence for at risk youth.  Parents are not allowed on the tour of the facility.  A Detention Worker will conduct a tour of the facility for the child only.  Each tour will take approximately thirty (30) minutes.  Tours are conducted for children ages 10 years and older.

Tours are offered Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
